1) The roofers have finished the roof! Well, someone has told me I should have them come back and put snow guards over all the doors, even the ones we don't use, so maybe it's more like mostly finished? Wow! I figured (where the show was picked up for its second season early on) they'd end the season with a whole lot of cliffhangers, but they still managed to surprise me with the number and variety. @.@ I need to do some silly stuff to clear the shock, and prepare for the looong wait for the show to return in the fall. 1) I was tested to see if I can donate bone marrow to my little brother. Even with siblings the odds of a match are only 25%. I'm a match. If they can get his cancer beaten down enough to make him eligible for a transplant, I can donate. I find a number of aspects of donating scary, but I've only got one little brother ( Read more... )
