Yesterday I watched the Space-X launch come apart mid-flight.

Obviously, this is a bad thing. But it wasn't a manned craft, so it doesn't get big headlines. People keep talking about deliveries by drone. There are three things that really bugged me about them:

1. Maps. WTF, publishers? Why are the maps so goddamned tiny? I can't enlarge them, either, which OT1H could be a Nook issue, but I have made files of my own stuff for my Nook and they enlarge just fine ( Read more... )
