My night started in the day. I have a client who periodically runs short on cash and so cuts back my hours. They have several very old, very big apple trees that need pruning every year. Working between rain showers I moved, cleaned, sorted and stacked approximately 300 bricks. I started late on Saturday and finished up Sunday morning. I offered to buy a pile of bricks that a neighbor had in his front yard. He said take them, but take them all.
And so I did.

Oh hell. After laying out a ton of Arizona flagstone yesterday, I came home just exhausted, and a painful tooth.
I checked it out this mornin' and it appears I have a cracked molar.
Crap.

Yesterday I went ridin' before goin' of to work. It was high clouds at the house, but got foggier as I rode west. I slowed down my speed because my face shield collected moisture makin hard to see clearly. I stopped a couple of time to clear it off with my glove. I saw my doc on Tuesday, more antibiotics for the sinus infections - that is the third round. Plus a nasal antihistamine as well as Claritin. On the Sunday before that my stomach became very acidic, so Nexium for that. Hopefully this is not a permanent problem ( Read more... )
