My BIL and his wife came over Sunday, and the heavy furniture is now out of the house and in the rental truck.

Now I hope there's enough room in the truck for the rest of our crap stuff. The remainder of the work that needed to be done on the house is now finished, and I cleaned the gutters. All that's left is the U&O inspection. It should go well ( Read more... )

9 days and counting....... YIKES!!! Settlement day is coming up quick.

The last remaining obstacle is getting the handy man out to fix a few issues, then getting the Borough to issue the Use and Occupancy license for our buyers. It should be done in time, but damn is it getting cut close!!!

J had her friends birthday ice skating party/sleepover last night. Once skating was over and everyone got home around 10 PM, there were seven girls under the age of 12 in the house -- more specifically, the living room. Cake and ice cream were served at 10:40 PM

My class for work is over. YIPPEE!! Now I can actually get paid for working overtime, since the work for my class was done on my own time.....

trystan830's computer class finished tonight. She's happy at that.

Now we both have time to actually pack. LOL

We signed the papers to put in an offer on the house tonight. As soon as we get a copy of our mortgage pre-approval to our realtor, the offer will be made available to the sellers.

Here's hoping things go off without a hitch.....
