soggy Sunday
I slept in until 9:30 this morning! Very unusual for me, but I guess I needed the rest. It's been raining all night and it was nice to fall asleep to the sound of rain on the roof. The beautiful pink/red/green leaves outside my bedroom window have little drops of rain hanging off of them, like tiny diamond earrings - it's really pretty.
Natural beauty aside, I have to focus on studying today. Must review my Pharmacology module, finish going through the slides and monotone presentation on the CD for the CMO Pharmacology exam, get started on my lit review, and review ESW. This is pretty much what I'll be doing today, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Three of us spent 8 hours in the university library yesterday bent over our books, making/reviewing drugs cards and listening to the pharmacology presentation. Gram positive bacteria, beta lactam antibiotics, the gram variable Mobiluncus, the polymyxins (my favorite), and all the talk about 50s ribosomes ..... ugh. At least the CMO exam is open book (and computer!) and I know how to search key words from the pdf.'s ;-)
