Today's #happything: shopping and chores all done, Small People back from Cubs and Scouts, and I'm on the sofa with nibbles, large glass of white wine, and Lucy Worsley's documentary on the Romanovs on TV :-)

Even Proper-er Snow... about 4-6 inches here last night.  First Small Person's school closed.  FSP ecstatic. Finally managed to get our weekend bunking off sorted out!

My parents have offered to have both the Small Persons for the weekend (bless 'em) at the start of half term, so I've been trying to book a night away for me 'n' the Resident Geek.  Nothing over-the-top, just a really good meal within staggering distance of wherever we're staying so we can ( Read more... )
