Yesterday my beloved and I made our trip to Chicago.  Since my car is not in great shape, I decided to take the megabus from Indy to Chicago.  I worked through the morning and then we headed out after a quick lunch, getting to Indy in good time.  I missed a turn downtown so we ended up driving in circles for a little while looking for the parking ( Read more... )

It's been a quiet weekend at home sharing simple pleasures with my beloved.  I've finished reading the first six Harry Potter books and done a bit of knitting, both of which have helped me let go of all the tensions and frustrations of the week (of which there were plenty).

I awoke feeling pretty rough this morning- congested, achey, and irritable.  After a while at work I'm feeling better, and luckily I didn't have any clients scheduled this morning so I've ben able to take time returning to semi-wellness and catch up on some of the paperwork that's been piling up on my desk.
