Yesterday started well enough with a leisurely early start at Jo's place, out the door a few minutes after my planned time of 10:30. Thus I headed to Hammersmith tube and then down the Picadilly line to Hatton Cross to pick up my Hire Van.

*opens eyes, sees lots of money in current account*

I emailed the letting agents to check if things were ok for me moving in ASAP after handing over money and signing the agreement, and just got this reply:

We finished all the moving last night. My stuff into storage and the last stuff to Southend. I then got barely 4 hours sleep before starting the day's driving. First back to Plumstead to return the trollery I'd hired to help move the fridge/freezer and washing machine.

Ok, van more or less loaded for penultimate trip to Southend. Hope to get back here tonight, but may stay in Southend, so I can get my stuff to storage in the morning.
