I'm reading Create Your Own Economy: The Path to Prosperity in a Disordered World, published in 2009 by Tyler Cowen, an autistic economics professor. Cowen talks a lot, in this book, about the value of the ways that many autistic minds organize information. Have any of you been to an AGUA meeting, and if so, how did you like it?
(The home base is in Los Angeles and it's short for Adult Gathering, United and Autistic).

Also, can you recommend a support group in or near Los Angeles?

 The New England Chapter of the Autistic Self Advocacy Network will have its first monthly meeting from 2pm to 4pm on Saturday, 27 Jun 2009 at the Watertown Free Public Library in Watertown MA. The meeting will take place in the Lucia Mastrangelo Room.
