I was poking around the interwebz yesterday and happened upon some interesting videos. The two I want to share are about jobs/the workplace, and girls/women with Asperger's.

The Asperger's Syndrome Page on TVTropes is actually pretty good!

I haven't read all the way through it yet because I'm in no attention span mode right now, but it looks like they did their homework and aren't just parroting stereotypes. And I like that they got cognitive empathy vs. affective empathy down.

This article describes, in depth and with sensitivity and respect, the life of the first person to be diagnosed with autism. It's fascinating, especially since he's a lot higher-functioning than I would have expected for the first person to ever be diagnosed.
