Ok, so I couldn't wear flowers in my hair, but I did leave a bit of my heart there (I think seismic has it in a jar somewhere).  Yes, folks, we're talking about San Francisco, that place I visited almost a month ago and I'm just now getting around to writing about it.

Finished Harry Potter.  I almost made it without being spoiled on anything, but a couple of jerks at work couldn't take the hint that when someone is in the room actually reading the book that it might be polite to keep quiet, even if that person is wearing headphones.  Luckily it wasn't anything major, but it bugged me ( Read more... )

Sluggish and nondescript, these are the words that apply best to me now.  As such, there's been a silence upon this journal in recent days.  Not that that's unusual or tragic.  At any rate, a hodgepodge, if you will, of stream-of-conciousnessness missives on a few various subjects.

I just finished reading the new Michael Crichton book, Next.

I'm back from Washington, DC.  The weather was horrible.  A light mist for the first leg, then I stopped at a hotel and awoke to a more substantial rain that followed me all the way up.  It cleared up the next day, but most of northern Virginia was foggy.  It didn't get really sunny until I made it to North Carolina, and then I thought it was a bit ( Read more... )
