Came back from Speed Racer this evening. It's the new Wachovsky brothers movie. I've never seen the tv series itself so I was pretty confused at the beginning, but the story picks up nicely and in the end is quite enjoyable. I've just finished the manga, all glorious 28 volumes (minus one towards the end). Thanks to nawlins7, who pointed me towards this site. My interest in this manga goes way back, as it was in the first few issues of ShoComi that I got. I just finished watching the last three eps of that series. I've grown to love it when I found the manga, but somehow hearing them seems to much more funny :) There were so many remarkable scenes and such a colorful range of memorable characters. I think I've fallen in love with Hachi's voice, it's just perfect. The way she narrates is just full of just the right emotions :) So far I like all the voices but Shin's. I decided to check out some "new" manga and started with this one. The plot doesn't seem that original, a mixture of Trinity Blood and Bleach maybe? The art is pretty nice though and I like the character design of the main character. I liked it better though when he was holding on to the cat, bah.
