Ikebukuro :)

After staying in Omori yesterday I headed out ot the other side of the city today. Yes, Ikebukuro. Painful isn't it? Costs 290Yen just to get there. I was seduced by the crepes there, but it was all cream and no chocolate or strawberries past that first bite, I felt cheated.

After that it got a bit better though :) I went into full Otaku mode and searched for cards in K-Books. Got a bunch for myself and some friends, a little present for my boyfriend (at Animate though) and when I headed out to the doujinshi store it was already getting dark X_X It was about time too, a real otaku who probably hadn't had a bath for a month was in there and smelling so bad that I thought I'd stepped into a public toilet in Austria.

Ah, wonderful K-Books doujinshi store! It's not three floors! I only managed two and half before I was kicked out. I did not intent do return to Ikebukuro but now I'll have to find some time for it. Must be thourough! They've everything sorted by circles which is quite bothersome most of the time, but I did accidently find a circle that I liked and bought nearly all their doujinshi (they didn't have many, so don't worry, S.!) I loved the one I have, so I hope they're just as good.

When I finally made it out I felt a little bit guilty, but only a little :) I decided to find the Boys Love cafe that I had heard about, but couldn't find it. It's supposed to be behind Sunshine but I only found Love Hotels there. I'll have to look it up online so I can find it. I really wanna take a look there :)

I checked out Closet Child since it was right around the corner (and still open) and didn't find anything I liked till I was heading out... Gackt's Platinum Bible II for only 1300 Yen O_O And his Gekkou DVD for only 1000 Yen. They were having a random sale it seems, all the other Bibles were above 3000 Yen. Lucky! Now I finally have the Mars Tour Live CD :) *happy*

I stepped out into Sunshine-doori and right in front of me was RIRAKUMA! So cute!!! I took a picture with him/it and got a coupon for the UFO catchers. Two free tries if I spent 500 Yen. I decided to get a Rirakuma in celebration of meeting him/it and with my last extra try I got it, hehe :) So now even I have one. I caved :)

I got some tasty Cheese-Chili fries at Wendy's and then headed back to Omori. I got out my last volume of "Watashi no megane-kun" and started reading. People were getting off and on the train and suddenly I noticed that I was sitting right between two young salary men who were also reading manga, lol. Must have been a funny sight :) I finished the manga while still in the Yamanote line. I can really recommend it to everyone who likes it angsty. This is the epitome of angsty.

I changed trains in Shinagawa only that the Tohoku line was PACKED! I couldn't move that's how full it was. We were swaying slightly when the train sped up, slowed down or turned right or left! Across from me, a few people further was a foreign woman and she gave me this "Ack, this is just terrible, but what can you do" look and I couldn't help smiling. I kept smiling through-out the stampede out at the next station and while waiting to go back in. People probably were wondering what was so amusing. Usually I'd hate being packed into a train like this, but this time I just thought this is so typically Japanese and everyone endures it so stoically, that I couldn't help finding it amusing :)

So when I finally arrived back here I was in a terribly good mood :)

Tomorrow it's back to the library. It's time, lol. Better to not let me roam the city :)
