I agree with boosterbaby that it feels more like mid-March, weatherwise. It is blustery, chilly though warmer than it seems (it's 63 degrees right now). I think it is affecting my mood today. it snowed last night, and so far all day today, off and on -- mostly on. The ground was so warm that even though it snowed all night, there wasn't a huge amount of accumulation. Here are a few pics. Also pics showing why I need a ramp!

We only had to wait four and a half years, but we NOW have new steps AND the new handrail! Where there were two crumbled barely-there steps before, there are now four lovely brand new steps.

Good news! Today we got a handrail put in! There is a contractor who is making new steps for us at the top of the hill, near the parking space, and he put in a loooong handrail for me today, cemented the poles and it is very sturdy. That is going to make a big difference for everyone going down the hill ( Read more... )
