This summer I finished reading The Poisoner's Handbook and the Corellian trilogy books. They were all good books. I also read Field Notes From a Catastrophe. School has begun, and things are going well.

So, today I got some chores done around the apartment. I read a little, and watch some TV while eating lunch and such. I finished my laundry. I was able to go workout. I have been working out at a gym and it has been a good time. I have been doing a spin class mostly and I like it. This is my first time in the new place where the power has gone out. I really need to get some flash lights or at least some sort of emergency lighting. I still get to listen to the radio though. Well, life has been okay, lately. Mostly, I have been keeping busy at work, preparing for lectures and the such. I also have home works to grade. Well, I had a good evening yesterday with the folks. I did some shopping at Wal-mart after I also did some chores in the morning. I had to do laundry and fold the clothes. Well, I have been through a lot. I had some more health issues in November, December, and recently in March. Hopefully, things will be a little better for a bit. I also moved out on my own, so that has been a new experience for me. So the summer was a nice time. I spent it reading books, and getting myself ready for the first semester as a full time faculty member. Spring semester went well. I didn't find a permanent job but I did get a one year position. I am enjoying the teaching and the experience. Summer has been good lately. Well, it is very hot. It is hard to really bring the temperature down in the house, especially since we have a two story house.
