Bah. Copier repairman is taking FOREVER to install the new part that had to be special ordered. Since no one else is in the office, I can't go pump. *grumbles* Now I miss my temp, who got a full time job and had to leave earlier than the extra 2-3 weeks she was going to stay past my maternity leave.

Baby is still high, giving me horrid heartburn, and I swear that 4 pounds I gained as of last visit was 100% baby. I don't look all that big but it feels like she is so cramped up in there, and she likes to protest it regularly. Bear drove all the way out to the OB's office in NLR to pick up my lab slip that I need for the 3-hour test, since they test at a lab for the longer one.  When he opened the envelope last night (clearly labeled with Stephanie Smith), we had a nice long laugh, and now he has to make another trip to NLR to return that poor gal's return to work letter ( Read more... )

Well, I failed the 1-hour GD test.  142 when their top limit is 139.  So now I have to go to the OB office, pick up a lab slip, then sometime in the next week do the overnight fasting and show up at 8:30 at the lab for the 3-hour test ( Read more... )

Everyone who's come into the office today has complained about the cold outside.  I had to bump the heat up for the lunch meeting and now it feels stuffy and too warm for me but others are comfy.  That's so utterly backwards to normal for me.

Birds have the right idea - fly south for the winter. And I'm not even in an area that gets truly "cold" in the winter.
