I actually managed to get stuff done on cosplay today (unlike the last two days).  So that means my Hyoutei shirt is almost finished (alas, but those black lines...).  And after one attempt that didn't quite work, I've got the iron-on transfer done for my Ouran patch.  So I have that and the snaps left to finish the jacket, and Haruhi's wig still ( Read more... )

This past month has been a month of new things.  First Mom's new car (which is comfy to ride in, although we still have occasional difficulties with unlocking passenger doors so the passengers can get in).  Then the new grill, to replace the one that we've had for...well, since before we moved to Blacksburg in '91.  That brought on a spell of Dad ( Read more... )

This is kinda random, but...

Why'd the Italians pick American music from (I think) the 70's and 80's to use for the Parade of Nations?  It's confusing me to hear "I Will Survive" or "Long Train Runnin'", even if it's only pieces of the song.
