I feel a little bit bad about the fact that I hardly post anymore except to do the Friday Pix. There's just not a lot going on these days to talk about. I get up, I go to work, I work all day, I come home, eat, unwind for a short time and sleep again. I have a couple days off, which are used for things I can't do during the week. I was told yesterday that a week from today (next Sunday), I'd be running the shop by myself. Apparently, this means I'll be approved and set as an assistant manager by then. J and I drove to her new job, to check the route. Easy stuff, and not too far, so that's gonna be a bonus. She goes tomorrow for a meet-and-greet.

My copy of Torchlight showed up today...and it's way more fun than it has any right to be. For such a seemingly-dinky game, I'm having a blast.

The Epic Gaming Table Blog: a documentation of one crew's building project. in the end, a large gaming table with space for four players and one GM, each space having room for dice, books, papers, etc., as well as a small book shelf/nook. Also? Each seating space has it's own beer tap. Yep.

- Fixed a shower head
- Mowed the lawn
- Went for a 5.5 mile walk in the rain with my lady

I'm beat, but it's been a damn good day.

After Jessica's doc appointment today, I stopped off at my local games store. I've been looking and trying to find a geek store around here, but, Newport News being what it is, I haven't had much luck. I haven't bought new dice in a long time. Of course, at this point, I haven't gamed in way too long, either, and the twitch is getting ugly. Who here remembers Rogue, or its successor, Nethack? Cripes, I played Rogue like it was going out of style, back in high school, sneaking it on to our school's computers.
