Memo to parents of children still living at home: beware of potential loopholes in your directions, when you tell said children they cannot wake you before a certain hour on Christmas morning. 1) Two was allowed to give up the crutches, although he's still excused from gym through the end of this week, at which point he'll have another check-in with the orthopedist. He's pretty much acting completely normal by now, so hopefully he can go back to gym next week.

I'm not normally too wrapped up in the lives of celebrities but, I tell you, I'm crushed over Carrie Fisher's death. Too young, too early, too wonderful a person. Yes, she had her low points, with drugs, and weight, and bipolar issues, but she was a survivor.

How can she be gone?

Carrie Fisher's in the ICU after a heart attack on a flight, George Michaels is dead, one of my BIL's best friends via WoW - her house burned down two days ago ... it's a lot of somber news for a holiday.
