In an effort to prevent myself from going insane, I retrieved a ball of blue yarn from the new place and toted it across the street to my grandmother's house where I've been staying the past two weeks. I used it to knit myself a calorimetry.

I finished my hat! It was terribly large when I finished knitting it. The brim actually fell to my shoulders when I put it on, and two heads could have fit instead the width of it. I got a wee bit carried away at the fabric store last night. I came home with fabrics that were entirely too expensive and a sewing machine. Only I would ever buy a sewing machine on a whim. I’ve never used one before, so I practiced a bit last night before making something this afternoon.
