Jason and I haven't seen the latest Harry Potter movie. My life was total chaos when it came out, and being an HP nerd was the last thing on my mind. So, I got the blu-ray disc on my way home. We have a blu-ray player now. So, yay. HP fun this evening.
I decided not to knit the detachable arm sleeves for Caricia's (Jason's sister) Christmas present. I don't think she would use them, and the piece looks quite nice without them. Plus, woah, it's almost Christmas and I have no time. So, I give you the bobble pullover...
It's knit in a mossy green baby alpaca. I really like it and am tempted to make one for myself. If you're a knitter and would like the pattern (with the detachable sleeves), you can find it here. Despite what you may think, it was not that difficult to knit. The bobbles are terribly easy to do as you knit the front. However, as with all sweaters/pullovers, it takes forever to knit.

I'm missing Albuquerque a bit. Who knew you could be homesick for a place other than your hometown? That's not to say that I don't enjoy the charms and wilderness of West Virginia. I just miss the flat terrain, the beautiful mountains, the dry climate, and the sunny winter weather of New Mexico.
