Right. Graduating today. Tonight: party! Tomorrow: unemployment (unless you count full-time babysitting this summer, and I'd rather not).

I spoke to my thesis advisor yesterday. On the pro side, there weren't that many people, so short line. Last night I completed the first draft of 80% of my thesis. Graduation in June: you are starting to seem physically possible! After about a month of rather productive thesis work, yesterday I've hit an inspiration wall and have been doing a fairly accurate impression of a fly trying to get out through a closed window ever since. Finishing exams was supposed to mean plenty of net time! It looks like I assumed the hours in a day would also multiply, because I have to take back up all the things I put off until, you know, the exams, and now I'm swamped. As of today, I have finished ALL my exams! Thesis and graduation, here I come!! This last exam (anglo lit, natch) went brilliantly too! Full marks, and the professor complimented me on top of that! And she was even cranky because she's been sick lately (she actually snapped at the girl right before me). So, go me :-)

Got a B today on an exam where I thought I was going to get at least an A- (for sure!). Damn, and I worked really hard for it too! The professor was clearly enjoying handing out low grades (he had this little self-satisfied smile on his face every time he'd disappoint someone!).
