Rejoyce!
As of today, I have finished ALL my exams! Thesis and graduation, here I come!! This last exam (anglo lit, natch) went brilliantly too! Full marks, and the professor complimented me on top of that! And she was even cranky because she's been sick lately (she actually snapped at the girl right before me). So, go me :-)
Tomorrow I go visit my sister, so net access but no privacy whatsoever... possibly will not attempt LJ contact. Starting next week, all the bunnies I've been carefully keeping at bay these last two weeks while I diligently studied will start getting some attention. There's even a multi-chaptered monster in there *gulps* My track record with those is absimal, but hey, this might be the one, who knows :-)
In the mean time, I'll get on with some reccing. I've created a system where I have a "temporary" folder for reccing links, so I don't lose stuff I don't have the time to rec immediately... yeah, I'm afraid to count, but at a glance I'd say there's at least twenty over there. I'm... not good with procrastinating recs (or is that TOO GOOD at procrastinating?).
But instead of going back from the top, here's the latest, because it hasn't had much circulation and it's absolutely bloody brilliant and everyone should read it, and people should quote it and write meta over it and and *deep breath*
Ok, colour me suprised, but I didn't know that
oatmeal_queen wrote fic in addition to making some of the best fan art out there. And this disgustingly talented lady is (if that is even concievable) even better at writing fic, which leaves us poor smucks pretty well off if all you do is read and look, but green with jelousy if you write stuff too (I'm still hiding under my blankie in shame).
Only she doesn't post to her journal, or crosspost anywhere besides deancastiel , which means that unless you're watching that community like a hawk you miss out. But fear not! For I have links:
525,600 minutes, five parts, complete, PG 13, gen as in "no sexyfuntimes" but with Dean/Cas propelling the whole thing. It's practically a BigBang, with plot and intrigue, and a mistery that slowly unravels until the last piece of the puzzle right at the end. Also, Amnesia!fic. Who can resist amnesia!fic? Dude, not me.
I usually don't rec WIPs, but here's a bit of advice: follow I Sought Refuge in a House on Fire, (we're up to part 5 right now, of 11), because it looks like only three people are following it right now and that's just unfair. Rated R, it's got whump and adventure and an imaginative villain and sneaky Winchesters who are competent and hot. Wait, did I say that outlout?
