So I do apologize for the recent lack of writing (past few months).  Right now I am sitting here on the couch, dressed up and ready to go out for a friend's birthday/going away party.  Should be fun.  I got bored after the Preakness was over so I did my makeup and got dressed about 3 hours early.  Ha.  I love Saturdays!

That basically describes how I feel recently at work.  Don't get me wrong, I love my job, and I love that it challenges me.  What I do not love is the fact that at times it seems that people are setting me up to fail.  I am not one to take a negative point of view like that... and the fact that I do think this is very troubling ( Read more... )

I visited my grandparents today.  It was really nice to see them... they are such interesting people, even now that they are getting up there in years.  When my mom and I showed up, they were sitting on the couch together, my grandmother reading, and grandfather watching basketball (and probably snoozing).

Today went well, overall.  I woke up and let the dog out, took a nap, showered, picked some stuff up from the apartment, came back and made some food, put away dishes, did some laundry, basically ran the household.  I watched the Terps beat up on Duke, which was a highlight of my day.
