Finally a free minute!
So I do apologize for the recent lack of writing (past few months). Right now I am sitting here on the couch, dressed up and ready to go out for a friend's birthday/going away party. Should be fun. I got bored after the Preakness was over so I did my makeup and got dressed about 3 hours early. Ha. I love Saturdays!
I actually had to work this Saturday. It might be back to work as usual tomorrow. I have been working as a "minutes taker" in the Australian project for the past two weeks (except for that one training day), and to be honest, it's been really fun. The guys are so nice, and it's interesting to learn all of the rules that they need to implement using our software. I never really realized how in-depth it goes, but it's really cool.
We also launched the intranet on Thursday. Pretty exciting. My picture is in one of the banners... it's actually pretty darn cool to be honest. I like how it turned out, but it is so buggy! But, I just realized that the old intranet was pretty damn buggy too. So I guess I shouldn't feel so bad haha
What else? Hmmm... not all that much. I'm going to Washington in a few weeks, and I am really excited about that. Finally a real vacation - one where I don't have to work! Yay!!! And I get to see one of my oldest and dearest friends too :) Should be great times! I might go see Mt. Rainier while I'm out there, but I'm not sure yet. Anyone know of anything to do in the Seattle area?
I went to PF Chang's on Thursday night with some high school girls. One didn't show which was a bummer, but it was fun nonetheless! They seem to be doing well, which makes me really happy. I am so glad that we've been able to stay friends and get together every now and then.
Other than that, not a whole lot has been going on. I bought a new Nintendo DS and a mattress foam pad, just as a treat to myself :)
Oh and if anyone wants to hang out, let me know... I'm always free after work and could use some new clothes/shoes! (I've been on a donating spree!) :)
