Yay! We are back in town! We spent 4 days down in St. Petersburg at Necronomicon. It was a small convention but fun none the less. I haunted the dealers and art show rooms. We are still borrowing stuff from the library on a regular basis. Two things I have really enjoyed of the last few offerings were the anime Black Cat and the manga series Tsubasa. We went by the library again late last week and got a fresh new batch of books and DVDs. Its like a never ending stream! We are still floating around 99-100 items checked out between our two accounts. The front living room floor is just littered with books. Well we have been steadily attacking the new stack of anime that I bought last month. We just finished Full Metal Panic: Second Raid. This was a lot of fun, but leaned more toward the serious side of the series rather than focusing half and half on the comedy side. We finally started consuming all that anime I bought a few weeks ago. In the last week we watched the entire Haibane Renmei series and of Hellsing. We really enjoyed both.

The big box of anime arrived yesterday. It came in a busted up box and note from the USPS that they "found" it in this condition. How the hell could you "find" it in this condition? You are the morons who are shipping it!

Yay! My big box of anime is finally in Florida. It supposedly left Jacksonville sometime this morning. That is only three hours drive from here. Even on the back of a scooter it should actually be in the Tallahassee post office by now. Mind you it took them a day just to go 17 miles to a distribution center. The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya: Complete Collection comes highly recommended and I am finally getting The Big O, Vol. 2: Anime Legends Complete Collection.
