Yay! We are back in town! We spent 4 days down in St. Petersburg at Necronomicon. It was a small convention but fun none the less. I haunted the dealers and art show rooms. Got some very cool anime figures, a bunch of ultra cheap Star Wars and Star Trek Next Gen collectible card game packs, a cool Steve Jackson card game with anime characters, a pair of silk bookmarks, and some lovely artwork featuring foxes in kimonos in different seasons! I went to a bunch of artist, writer and trivia panels. We also attended the masquerade. Alas, we weren't able to get our costumes done because of a time crunch (release time at work and a new semester at school), but there are other cons. On the whole it was relaxing and I got to read a lot (14 volumes of manga!). Glad to be home though.
