Ten years ago on a Wednesday a tortie-cat magically appeared on my doorstep. First, about my car: the mechanic spent a while on Monday trying to get the power steering to die again and it refused to do so. So they have an idea or two about what might have gone wrong, but aren't confident enough in any diagnosis to start replacing things. My gross old a/c unit has been replaced by a shiny new one that is exactly the same as the one I had at my old place. This new apartment cools off better than my old one despite being larger, so my bedroom isn't noticeably warmer than the living room where the a/c unit is. Which is *awesome ( Read more... )
