The last week has been quite erratic in terms of eating out/in.  I was basically a zombie for much of the last two weeks, becoming quite a putrified mess by last Thursday.  However, am feeling a lot better now... lots of social activities and just knowing I've cleared a bit of work on my never ending list of things to do.

This Easter has been a busy one!  Lots of eating involved and lots of catching up with people as well.  And house cleaning.  A holiday at home always involves house cleaning!  I don't love cleaning, but I do get a nice buzz out of things being in the right place, and everything neat and tidy.

It's been a warm Christmas, but nothing wrong with that. Tomorrow is expected to hit 40 degrees though. I may need to:
a) hide out in a shopping centre
b) hide out at my parents' place (because they have air conditioning and I do not).

Yesterday nekomancy , harlzen and I went to Mundaring to attend the Mundaring Truffle Festival.

Sweet bejeebus.  It was good.

Admittedly, this was the first year I had gone so I don't really have a standard to compare it to, so perhaps it merely didn't meet my expectations.

I learnt things which were useful - such as an introduction to WA QLamb.  Lamb which is grown by WA farmers and has a standard amount of fat and is vacuum packed.  They also ( Read more... )
