Happy 4th of July!

I've found myself once again in England on America's Independence Day, so obviously no day off of work and no fireworks. Plus, I'm going to miss Guy Fawkes' and Bonfire Night fireworks, so I have to wait until 2009. Man, I am going to enjoy those fireworks ( Read more... )

I cannot believe it's already been a year. In some aspects, though, it seems like it happened so very long ago.

It's sad to say the country really isn't all that better off one year later.
