Happy 4th of July!

I've found myself once again in England on America's Independence Day, so obviously no day off of work and no fireworks. Plus, I'm going to miss Guy Fawkes' and Bonfire Night fireworks, so I have to wait until 2009. Man, I am going to enjoy those fireworks ( Read more... )

I had the weirdest sense of deja vu on the tube this morning - it felt just like a freezing November day in Chicago during my senior year of college, as I was bundled up and riding the el ("a Brown Line train, to downtown") downtown to go to class. It'd be happier if I had a boyfriend, but, well, can't have everything.

Instead, I have some Elvis, Sinatra, and Nat King Cole, which is good for a lonely heart.

I won't be lonely long, though. I'm going to go pick up Leah and met Megan at Blue Bay. Then we're hanging out tomorrow night. Girl's Night Out!
