I am almost done with my pigment that I've been making! YAY!

It's verdigris, which by modern terms is mostly hydrated copper acetate, with some copper carbonate and some copper hydroxide. Behold, how lovely the color!

Well, I couldn't find my scissors, so I didn't get much sewing done. I looked for my PVA glue so that I could do some gold leafing, but I couldn't find it. I finished a commission today!

One of my household sisters, Galenna, received a Purple Fret and she didn't receive it, someone accepted for her.

Well, it accidentally got dripped on, and water damaged.

I am working on a hand-written and illuminated book. It is going to be a book that instructs on the virtues and vices of man, using mostly fables, and will also have some other things in it, like the fealty oath of the Midrealm, etc. The intention is something like a book that a knight or scholar might carry around, but with a little more modern ( Read more... )

I might put this trim on my new dress, or I might not - it depends on if I make the dress later period or not. I really like how it turned out, though.
