Got a bit accomplished this morning. Went to the hospital to return the Holter monitor I had to wear for two days, and for my pre-admission testing for Mondays esophageal dilation procedure. Got woke up from a nap by the phone. It was a recording from the pharmacy saying my Metformin refill was ready. Blood pressure still high at today's doctor visit (154/100). He prescribed a second medicine to take at night (the other I take during the day). He also prescribed a fluid pill. Back from the doctor. Bad sinus infection. Fluid on right ear. Got two shots (an antibiotic and a steroid) and four prescriptions. Would say checkup went well, but I came home with three more medicines to take. One is to add once a day to the current blood pressure med I'm taking twice a day, because my blood pressure this morning was 168/114.
