Had to pay out of pocket for my most recent medicine refill. It's a reflux medicine I've been taking since the esophagus surgery in 2018. Last time I was at the doctor, I let him know I was still having bad reflux at times, so he upped the medication to two times a day, instead of once a day. Still suggesting to mom she needs to start going to a different pharmacy. She was prescribed eye drops to take three times a day to relieve pressure in her eyes. It's been over a week, Walgreen's STILL hasn't gotten them yet. Having an issue with one of my medicines. Refill on Lisinopril (for my blood pressure) was denied after the pharmacy faxed the request in. I called the Med II clinic after getting home from the pharmacy, was put on hold while the person who answered the phone checked on it. Mom got set up at Ochsner Health System Monroe to be her primary healthcare provider this afternoon, since her old doctor is retiring soon. They sent a prescription that she was running low on in to Walgreen's. There was an "issue" with her insurance, which usually makes her medicine low cost.
