Went to the hospital this morning to see mom. She's awake and to herself, but she was very sleepy. I brought the eye drops her eye doctor wants her to use daily for pressure, so the nurses can give them to her. She said she only has a pain where they did the surgery when she coughs, but she also has a morphine pump in case she DOES get into pain. I ( Read more... )

Not sure WHY, maybe a different frame rate, but when I'm watching something produced in the UK on Blu-ray lately, the motion is rather jerky, unless I set my TV to display in "Game" mode, then it's fine. Both "Red Dwarf:Back to Earth" and "Monty Python Live: One Down, Five to Go" experience the issue.

Mom and I just watched an episode of "The Carol Burnett Show" and an episode of "Grimm". Yes, those two shows go together great!

Told myself earlier that, unless it was ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY, I wasn't going into town today, because of the crowds the day after Xmas. Well...
