Dom has a part in the new Wolverine film - that will be interesting. Still some confusion over whether he's Beak or Blackwing (not that I would know the difference anyway).

I love getting parcels! I just picked up my CD of Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency, and on reading the booklet I found that it has an extra hour of material that they couldn't squeeze into the broadcast. *wins*

The Flying Scotsman DVD was in the same parcel, so I'm going to have a very Billy weekend.

I was hoping to get to the Loft gig on 12th October, but that's not going to happen, so if anyone can get photos and/or video that would be fantastic. And it's a good cause as well.

I just got back from seeing "The Flying Scotsman" in the cinema - I really liked it. It's always difficult to get good dramatic pace in a true-story film, but they did very well with this one. I liked that the serious issues were raised but not wallowed in, and the triumphs were there but they weren't over the top. I thought JLM did a great job ( Read more... )

The BBC ran a story this morning saying that MGM has picked up Billy's new film "The Flying Scotsman" and will release it at the end of the month. This is corroborated by IMDB which gives a release date of 29 December 2006 for the US. MGM is also in negotiations for a UK release.
