Truly, truly boring for those not into fitness and nutrition. Just warning you.

I want fried chicken, damn it. (Which I just typoed as "friend chicken"--wonder what Freud would make of that?)

Is it worth it to get dressed so I can go out to KFC? *ponders* I don't want anything that could be delivered out here--which pretty much lets out pizza and pasta.

If you can get Athenos brand hummus, do so IMMEDIATELY. I'm currently eating Athenos Roasted Garlic hummus (what can I say? I'm Italian; I love garlic) with reduced-fat Triscuits. YUM.

Day 2 of spaghetti sauce & meatballs + a big glass of Coke Zero = yum.

For dessert, a Skinny Cow ice cream bar? Or a glass of milk with creme de cacao and kahlua? (Also known as a Smith & Wesson, also known as a Paralyzer. Grown-up chocolate milk, yum.)

Add in a West Wing marathon, and life is bliss.

Which means that next Monday is the last Monday of the school year!

1. Hot dogs.
2. Mustard, ketchup, and relish.
3. Whole-wheat hot dog buns.
4. Tim's Cascade-style Potato Chips--Sour Cream 'n Onion Flavor.
5. Fresh cherries.
6. Cold pop.
7. Not having to get up at 5:30 a.m.

Quiz today. Kids were amazingly ON TASK and QUIET. Seriously, it was so relaxing! And they seemed to be a lot happier with the retake today; apparently they actually, you know, LEARNED SOMETHING ( Read more... )

Had a lovely lunch/coffee with harpinred. She's a delight! If we hadn't had Stuff To Do, we'd probably still be there, talking away. I did manage to whack hell out of my right elbow on the edge of a window at the coffee shop. Ouch.
