In all honesty, Samp deserved to win this match. Stats, I'm told, were 8 to nil shots-on-goal to the Dorians in the first half [12 to 4 in corner kicks to Samp again]. Easily one of my favourite Roma matches of the season. The Giallorossi were down a goal after that debacle with Panucci [who was yet again playing out of position as a CB] and GK Doni, which resulted in Toto Di Natale's opening header.
