In all honesty, Samp deserved to win this match. Stats, I'm told, were 8 to nil shots-on-goal to the Dorians in the first half [12 to 4 in corner kicks to Samp again]. They also hit the woodwork twice, and Doni had to make five saves to keep the Romans in the running. Sometime after the restart, news broke that Inter were down two goals at the San Siro at which time the Romans were immediately re-awakened into contention-- scoring THREE GOALS WITHIN TEN MINUTES! Phew. With Inter dropping points to AC Milan, the Giallorossi are within three once again. Don't get your hopes up though, Romanisti; our boys have always been heartbreakers.

Mirko was absolutely asleep in the first 45, but woke up after the restart. *whacks him with a frying pan*
He came close to scoring when he went 1-on-1 with the Samp GK, but was denied. Nevertheless, Mirko was decisive in Cici's goal for providing the assist.
