I finally got to go to Barkerville! I went with Lilli, coasting in on her family pass. It is so neat. I bought a really beautiful owl picture for Mum, and some fudge (yum!) for me. I also bought myself a bonnet. A full-on, Holly Hobbie bonnet, and I rock the hell out of it, if I do say so myself. It is excellent for keeping the rain off ( Read more... )

It has been an action-packed week. ( HOLY CRAAAAAAAAAAAP! )

Yesterday was the first day of CelticFest, and anik, obeythemew and myself went down to the Yale for the ceilidh. The dance floor was not nearly large enough for proper Scottish dancing, although that really didn't matter, as no one was doing so. Probably just as well, as I suspect mayhem would have ensued. Things I Learned at the Vancouver Aquarium:

1)Seals are fast.

2)Dolphins are faster.

3)Sea otters are always adorable, even while shredding the flesh of molluscs.
