I didn't get a chance to post yesterday so here is Friday's list:

1. I'm thankful that the apple pie turned out.

2. I'm thankful that the turkey is nearly thawed.

3. I'm thankful that the laundry is caught up.( for the moment)

Today was not a great day. I had an upset stomach for at least half of it. It is better now but still not quite back to normal. I didn't get much done as a result. The dishwasher is full of clean dishes that I will put away tomorrow. There is always laundry it seems but at least one load got washed, dried and folded. It too will be put away ( Read more... )

Yesterday I washed, spackled and then sanded the remaining living room walls as well as the hall way to the bathroom, office and guest bedroom. Today I did the first round of cutting in and put on the first coat of paint. Today was another beautiful day; mild spring like temperatures and we didn't get the wet snow or freezing rain that was a possibility in last night's forecast. I didn't get stuck at the front of the house and was able to get to Curves for a workout. I did have to scrape my windshield though. I can't remember the last time I had to do that. Teddy likes to play in the snow. Unfortunately he is so short and the snow is deep enough that his belly and legs end up wet, along with is muzzle as he snuffles through the snow looking for who knows what. It's quite funny to watch, especially since he's on a leash. He ends up running in circles ( Read more... )
