Monday it was very mild and quite a bit of the snow we got last week melted. Tuesday wasn't as warm but still above freezing so nearly all the snow was gone. When I got up this morning it was snowing. It's still snowing. I cleared the driveway with the snow blower but it will probably need doing again by morning. Every fall our daughters and I try to get together to make cabbage rolls. This year turned into a marathon session. The final tally was 144 cabbage rolls! My fingers are still puckered from handling hot cabbage leaves. My share is now cooking on the stove and in my crock pot. It's 1:06 am and I am unable to get to sleep. The wind has picked up in the last hour and now it is raining. The fact that it is raining is somewhat unusual because by this time of year our precipitation is normally in the form of snow not rain.
