It's been a week since Maggie and I got out for a walk due to a snow storm, and temps hovering in the -25C range. Today, we walked! We both thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Otherwise known as craft day at my house. Our oldest and I try to get together once a week to do something creative. Today I finished work on a set of 8 blocks that spell out some of the names of Jesus. Here they are:

Last night we had rain, today the mercury climbed to 8 C or 46.4 F! That temperature set a new record high for Edmonton for the 15th of January! It's supposed to stay mild for another couple of days. Last year I decorated some Decor Blocks from Stampin' Up! for our oldest daughter. When the Designer Series paper Paisley Petals came out our youngest daughter asked me to make blocks for her. I started feeling dizzy last night. This morning when I got up I was really dizzy and pretty much ping-ponged off the walls as I headed downstairs to let the dogs out. I went back to bed for a couple of hours and felt a bit better but still light headed. If I moved too fast or turned my head too quickly I'd get dizzy again. My stomach was queasy ( Read more... )

It snowed through the night and all day Wednesday. It's been snowing on and off this evening. I had to shovel the back door area three different times so that I could take the dogs out.
