Three inches seems about right. A friend reported that out at the airport they only got half an inch.

In Sunday's edition of the Wisconsin State Journal is a insert called Madison 150. Madison celebrates 150 since incorporation in April of 1856. I opened to the first page and the first item is the Sterling Hall bombing. I cast my mind back to August of 1970 ( Read more... )

Since check out time at the campground was one I didn't set the alarm. Wouldn't you know it I was awake before 7 am. I refused to get up before 8. We took our time this morning as it is an easy 3 hour drive to Madison from Davenport. We took US Highway 61 north to Dubuque and picked up US Highway 151 which is now 4 lane all the way to Madison.
