We took Sircle to the vet today to get her follow up testing done. She had blood work to asses her general health and based on the results, to figure out if amputation surgery is an option. She also had a chest x-ray to see if the cancer has mastisized into her lungs. They will call us with the results on Monday. I am hoping to get a very firm ( Read more... )

Will I loose another beloved dog before my baby is born? My Shiloh is gone and now my Sircle is having her own health problems. Her right front paw and joints were swollen and she was limping for a week so we took her to the vet. Yesterday was an eventful day. My 3 year old niece Lexi (who currently lives with me) had her MRI in the morning because a while back she had an abnormal x-ray which showed she might have a minor form of spina bifida called tethered cord. My dog Shiloh is going in for surgery to have a lump removed from her back leg tomorrow and I'm really nervous about it. She is 12 or 13 and putting her under anesthesia is risky. This has been a busy week. I love my job and my coworkers are awesome to hang out with. I guess we are all going to the beach on the fourth of July because we have a group of dogs who's "parents" requested it. On holidays we get paid our regular hourly wage plus half of our hourly wage.
