The move is finished and now we are happily residing in our wonderful new home. Much, much thanks to my brother and my cousin who were troopers in helping Graig move all the big stuff in. We're pretty exhausted, but overall, the move went smoothly and we managed to avoid moving in a snowstorm by a day ( Read more... )

I need another weekend now to recover from my freakishly busy weekend.

But, in good news, extra mattress and boxspring are now at the parents' place, and old dining room table and chairs went to Goodwill.

There is now marginally more space in the house. Yay.

Here is a glimpse of the fruits of our labours this long-weekend, well, mainly Graig's labours, as he was the one who put this monstrosity together. My husband is awesome :)

You could definitely say that I am a very 'spacially aware' person. Somehow, I always seem to know where things are in the house. Jet has already learned that he doesn't have to look for something, if he just asks me, 80% of the time I'll know where it is.
