Rob and I were married on March 15, 2009. It was an absolutely beautiful wedding and everything went wonderfully. I'm thoroughly thankful of all my friends and family who attended. And I'll be posting pictures soon.

So I had my oil changed in my Scion a couple of weeks ago. The lady mentioned that it sounded like the bearing in the belt tensioner was going bad. I mentioned this to Rob we talked about and I took it to a local mechanic with a great rep. Turns out it not the tensioner but the water pump which upon failure could overheat and possibly fry my engine ( Read more... )

I spoke with my grandfather last night for about half an hour. This is the first time in my memory that we actually TALKED. Oh I see him regularlly (about 2-3 times a month) and we talk all the time, but never much longer than a few minutes of idle chitchat. And when I visit it's the usual: How are you? What's going on? Well turns out Jimmie did have a stroke and will be in the hospital for monitoring for the next few days. Mom's doing fine. He's having some problems with words and getting thoughts out but the doctor said that could be just temporary. He keeps asking her the same questions every ten minutes or so and I told her she needs to be patient, she's not ( Read more... )

Saturday night my mom had to rush my step dad to the emergency room. He has been having heart problems and has been seeing a cardiologist. She recently put him on blood thiners and within a day or two he was exhibiting mild stroke symptoms. He's not having a stroke and he's not having a heart attack. I had a dream last night that I was about 6 or 7 months pregnant. Enough to show considerably. I'm not quite sure if this was a nightmare or a twisted creation by my subconscious to torture me.
