Yesterday my mom and I went into NYC. We went to MoMA which I now realize is one of my favorite places to go in New York. I wrote down the titles/names of the artists of the pieces I really liked. Rereading Preacher makes me both like it more and like it less. It seems that Garth Ennis might've used the comic to just rant sometimes, which is fine, but it seems that it's out of character every so often. Went to a show last night. The line-up was: Gwynbleidd, Rosetta, Sourvein and Maegashira in reverse order. Maegashira are a sludge/stoner metal band who were good, but all together too slow. I know, I know, but when they played fast it was a lot more rockin' and fun. Ah well ( Read more... )
