Life progresses on. Or decomposes depending on your view of time. Not much is new with me. Still watching movies. Awesome and I saw "Toy Story 1 & 2" in 3D today. I had never seen 2 before! The whole Jessie/Emily story made me super sad. Great movies. Saw another trailer for "Where The Wild Things are, super stoked for that.
After Comic Book Club finished, I stayed at the theater to see a show the wife of one of CBC's hosts (Pete) directed. It was two women, each doing character pieces alone. Both were great and hilarious. But a character the first woman did really hit me. She's talking to a guy she just met after they've gone back to his or her place. He asks her what she wants (sexually). She starts telling him, and then begins divulging what she wants out of life in specific detail. It was really crushing in how what she said was what I wanted or what I wanted to give to someone. Being single kind of sucks.
Looking forward to the weekend. Hanging with a coworker Friday morning/afternoon, then probably seeing some movie in NYC and then doing lights/sound for the fucking great sketch/stand up show GENTRIFY BROOKLYN. Then on Saturday night I'm going to hang out with my best Pennsylvania buds Evan and Shannon.
