(no subject)
Hung out with C-Man and Awesome all day today. Watched South Park, The Simpsons, played SSMB and finally watched The Incredibles, which I totally enjoyed.
Yesterday, Awesome and I went to a concert. The bands were: Pulling Teeth, Coliseum, Ceremony, Genghis Tron, and Converge. Genghis actually bored me, but were good you know? Just not thrilling. Pulling Teeth and Coliseum were great. And Ceremony and Converge tore it the fuck up. I had never heard Ceremony before and they floored me. Ridiculous amount of energy. And Converge just ripped everyone's faces off. I was up front for the first two songs, but could barely breathe so I moved back. They played two new tunes that sounded rad. Also I saw Biz from Rip it Up and Alfonso, his girlfriend Megan and his cousin Derrick. Neat.
Day before that I hung out with Shannon where we went to a diner and had corn fritters. And we watched like 3 hours of the Food Network. She is a good friend.
On Friday Awesome and I went to a basement show in New Brunswick. Itay's band, Burden, played and were very good. Also Protestant played and were greeeeat. The headliner was the The Fall of Efrafa, who were post-metal + hardcore. Neat stuff. Hung out with Ben, Mike and George from Rip it Up and also Frankie. After the show, Awesome, Frankie, George and I followed Rich to a party which was very lame and pretentious, so we all just went to Rich's house. We got great pizza and just hung out while Frankie was possibly the most wasted I had ever seen a person be.
Neurosis continues to amaze me.
Jobs might be happening. Non-film related though.
I miss hugging someone romantically.
